What is Lexx-o-Rama?  Lexx-o-Rama first started as a gathering of Lexxians from the IRC-channel #lexx. The first Lexx-o-Rama occured in July 1999 in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2003 zappo, matZ, Mira and Jon (then known as Svart) decided to take Lexx-o-Rama to the next step and registered it as an association with the Swedish tax department. At the same time Lexx-o-Rama also joined Sverok. Today Lexx-o-Rama is the world's oldest continuous Lexx convention/get-together and is, by tradition, held somewhere in Sweden during the summer each year. Past Lexx-o-Ramas has been held in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Umeå. Lexx-o-Rama 2009 will be held in Gothenburg. Lexx-o-Rama is also working together with West Coast Trekkers, Interstellar Alliance, Club Cosmos, Mithlond and Sf(3) in Gothenburg under the name of Tentakler. Lexx-o-Rama's representative in Tentakler is currently zappo. | |
